Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
This verse is a call to begin with absolute surrender - to commit our works to the Lord means that we cast all that we must do, and all that we must deal with squarely upon God, to transfer it from our strength to His, and that we leave it there in faith and dependence knowing that He will handle it more perfectly than we ever could. When days, activities, and responsibilities are began this way, the Bible promises that our thoughts will be established - in other words we will have a definite peace - because we know that He will do all things well, and all things for our good and His glory. Begin with surrender, and you will continue with peace!

Not Everyone Lives
Death is more universal than life, everyone dies but not everyone lives.
